This individually owned townhouse is situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their roof terrace and spacious balconies, and is only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. The house has had modernisation to the kitchen, bathroom or en suite, and has modern furnishings throughout. *Air conditioning available at an additional charge.

 


Accommodation

The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for alfresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine. There is UK tv.

Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.

Car hire is recommended, and each townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive, we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation. Each house has UK TV and Wi-Fi.

There is an information folder for guests use in the house. This contains a comprehensive guide to the area, restaurants, places of interest and emergency telephone numbers.

Living Rooms -  Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa sitting and large dining table. UK TV channels. Log burner.  Patio doors leading to sheltered South facing sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers. 

Kitchen  - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.

Bedrooms  - One bedroom with two single beds, en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. The second bedroom with double bed, with sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to family bathroomThe house comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults. Additional sleeping arrangements are for children. This house is not suitable for 5 adults. 

Bathroom -  En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service -   Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter, this is included in the rental cost.

WI-FI IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.

Outside

Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.

Coast/Beach

There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho and Albandeira. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Golf

Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive.

Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Location

Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.

The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes’ drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

As a small family business we look after a few townhouses in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the townhouse before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the townhouse.

Baby equipment such Cot and High chair, are available on request for a small additional charge, please enquire.

Fantastic townhouse in a great location spotless clean beautiful views ideal for small family or upto 4 people. 5 minute walk to Carvoeiro centre downhill but isup a steep hill or a few stairs to access although taxis are readily available at the bottom of the hill if you have mobility problems would thoroughly recommend

AUG 2021. The accommodation is super nice. The location is a little further up, easy to reach on foot and by car. The facilities are also complete and as stated. Definitely recommendable and worth a holiday. Back again every time!

SEPT 2021. Susie is a great host, she upgraded us to a different house with even better view. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all super clean. The layout of the house is quite uniqie with bedrooms in the lowest level which was actually great because even when it was hot outside, it was nice and cool in the bedroom. No need for AC. Each room has a small balcony, there's also larger balcony next to living room (with sunbeds and table and chairs and BBQ!), we loved eating breakfast there and enjoy the view of the town and ocean. There's also a rooftop terrace with even better, unobstructed view over Carvoeiro and ocean. PERFECT! We loved spending evenings there with a glass of wine. And there is also place to hang your laundry after washing. WiFi was fast, kitchen had all equipment we might need for cooking, again everything perfectly clean. Right outside the house you have your own parking spot, it's so convenient if you have a large luggage. It was great to have a safe parking spot for our rented car, and not having to search for parking place in those tiny streets! The pool was a fantastic bonus, quite big and usually we had it just for ourselves (only once there were 3 people beside us), it's not heated but not cold either. Just perfect after a day in the sun exploring beaches. The location is nice too, 8 minutes on foot to the city and ocean, close to restaurants and bars, but in a very quiet and peaceful street, no noise at night at all. The house is located uphill, but the views are SO WORTH IT. We would love to come back!

SEPT 2021. We were in Number 23. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I liked the terrace for outdoor dining with a view and the pool was a good size. Susie is a great host and was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this excellent townhouse.
