Colina Branca is a small superbly located complex of well furnished holiday townhouses, situated just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach at the centre of Carvoeiro.

These traditional townhouses have either a double and a twin, or two twin bedrooms, plus z bed or sofa-bed, and can sleep a maximum of 4 adults plus one child. All have wonderful views over the bay of Carvoeiro.

In addition the large shared pool and lush gardens make Colina Branca a wonderful holiday location.

 


Accommodation

These individually owned townhouses are situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their roof terrace and spacious balconies, and are only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. These traditional houses have either a double and a twin, or two twin bedrooms, plus z bed or sofa-bed, and can sleep a maximum of 5 people. Some owners prefer to retain the original bathrooms/kitchens and still have traditional style furniture. This is reflected in the lower prices. In the current economic climate, these houses represent excellent value for money. They all have UK TV channels, and some have German channels.

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the heart of this lively little fishing town, Colina Branca is the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve, with local bars, restaurants, tennis courts, supermarkets and beaches only minutes away, in addition to Pestana Golf Centre being a few minutes’ driving distance.

The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for al-fresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine.

Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Car hire is recommended, and each townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive,we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation. 

There is an information folder for guests use in each house. This contains a comprehensive guide to the area, restaurants, places of interest and emergency telephone numbers.

Booking notes
A 25% or 250€ (whichever is greater) deposit is required at time of booking.
The final balance plus a returnable breakage deposit of 250€ is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All Colina Branca townhouses are individually owned. Many of the owners have had some types of modernisation carried out in their houses, to varying degrees.

Are you a large party looking for neighbouring properties for friends or family? Then look no further. Colina Branca is ideal for separate groups wishing to be in close proximity to one another without being under one roof! Please ask for details.

Living Rooms -  Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa sitting and large dining table. They all have UK TV channels and some have german channels, and radio. Log burner. Patio doors leading to sheltered South facing sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.

Kitchen  - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.

Bedrooms  - One bedroom comprising one double or two single beds, en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. One further bedroom comprising one double or twin beds, with sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to family bathroom. Some of the townhouses have a third bed in one of the bedrooms, or a sofa bed.  All houses comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. Some of the townhouses sleep an additional person, but please note the additional sleeping arrangements are for children. These houses are not suitable for 5 adults.

Bathroom -  En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service -   Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter, this is included in the rental cost.

WI-FI IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.

Outside

Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.

Coast/Beach

There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho and Albandeira. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Golf

Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive.

Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Location

Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.

The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes’ drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

As a small family business we look after a few townhouses in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the townhouse before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the townhouse.

Baby equipment such Cot and High chair, are available on request for a small additional charge, please enquire.
