10 Oct 2025  Apartment is wonderful. Lovely and quiet. Has everything you need for a great holiday. It's a steep hill and 101 steps down (or up!) to and from the old town but only about 4€ in a taxi if you need it. Pool was lovely although busy at weekends with people "reserving" sunbeds which is a little frustrating.Overall we had a wonderful stay.

4th Oct 2025  Very nice, quietly located house. The house is equipped with everything you need, including washing-up liquid and washing powder. There are plenty of crockery and glasses. Beach towels are also provided. After a week's stay, the bed linen and towels were changed and the bathrooms were cleaned. We hadn't expected that. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols in the outdoor area, as well as a barbecue. There is one bedroom with a bathroom on the ground floor and two further bedrooms and a children's room on the first floor. The beds were quite good by Portuguese standards, but all the double beds are only 1.60 m wide. Overall, the house was very clean and nicely furnished.

4th Oct 2025 We loved our stay at Susie's villa. We had 8 ladies staying for 1 week and the main purpose of our holiday was to play pickleball at La Rocha Brava resort. This was the perfect base. The house was roomy. We paid extra to have the pool heated and that was fantastic. The pool was good size.
The house was wonderful, everything was clean, and was cleaned again during our stay and fresh towels. There were plenty of plates and kitchen utensils and we did read before to bring our own basics - coffee, tea, salt, pepper etc.
There is a small supermarket near by at La Rocha Brava but we got an Uber to and from Aldi's for large food shops (approx EUR 12 return).
There were some lovely restaurants within a short walk.
Suzie was also flexible with our check out time.
We would love to come and stay again.

Sep 2024  Only stayed for four nights, as we were too late to book for a longer period. Everything was fine with the cottage, it felt like coming home. Highly recommended.

Aug 2024  The accommodation is perfect for a family, functional and very well-equipped.  I was jealous of the beautiful bougainvillea that surrounds the patio window. An information book is available for emergencies and must-see places visited. Thank you so much... everything was perfect. I'll save the address for a future stay.  A big favourite for your accommodation. See you soon, I think !

Aug 2023  Nice and very quiet residence. We recommend this little villa with its garden and roof terrace where we were able to watch the shooting stars.

27 Sep 2025  Lovely stay in September, car needed to reach the many great beaches. Four within walking distance, 10-20 minutes. Susie was always quick to respond, even when our child was ill and we needed a pharmacy.

29th Sep 2025  A very nice house with perfect location, beautiful views from both the balcony and rooftop where we spent many evenings. The pool was great too.

28 août 2025 Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette villa de rêve, Casa Dara, située à quelques minutes en voiture au-dessus de la baie et de la ville animée de Carvoeiro.
Tout était parfait, depuis le premier contact avec Susie jusqu'à notre départ. Tout s'est déroulé sans encombre, comme on pouvait le souhaiter.
La maison est exactement comme décrite et montrée sur les photos, mais en réalité, elle est encore plus belle ! Tout était super propre !
La maison est située au calme dans un magnifique quartier résidentiel haut de gamme. L'intimité est totale, car il s'agit d'un très grand terrain avec beaucoup de verdure.
Le nettoyage de la piscine tôt le matin était si discret qu'on ne s'en rendait presque pas compte. La maison est légèrement surélevée, la terrasse offre une vue imprenable
sur le jardin et la grande piscine. La maison dispose de trois chambres, trois salles de bains, suffisamment de serviettes sont fournies et, si nécessaire,
vous pouvez également utiliser la machine à laver. Un superbe salon, une grande télévision avec une utilisation parfaite des applications et une grande cuisine complètent le tout. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment à l'aise.
Nous avons passé un séjour très relaxant, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Tout était parfait.

18th Sep 2025 Clean, spacious and modern with a well stocked kitchen. AC worked well. Very nice, quiet place to stay on the Algarve with a private parking spot. Good location to tour around the coast.
