Die Villa hat eine große Poolterrasse mit Sonnenliegen und Außendusche, ein perfekter Bereich zum Entspannen und Sonnenbaden. Für alle, die den Schatten bevorzugen, gibt es einen großen, überdachten Terrassenbereich mit Tisch und Stühlen, ideal um während des heißen Tages im Freien zu Essen. Ein üppiger Garten umgibt die Immobilie und die obere Terrasse bietet einen erstklassigen Ausblick über den Atlantik und den Leuchtturm in Alfanzina.
Es gibt in der Nähe einige wundervolle Strände. Praia de Carvalho ist einen 10-minütigen Spaziergang entlang eines ruhigen Pfades entfernt und zum Praia del Vale Centianes sind es zu Fuß 15 Minuten. Zusätzlich sind der herrliche Strand Praia da Marinha und die Strände von Benagil, Carvoeiro und Albandeira mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Die Küste ist spektakulär, sie bietet erstklassige Ausblicke und großartige Spazierwege entlang der Klippen.
Vale do Milho, ein 9-Loch Par 3 Platz ist ganz in der Nähe. Der Nick Price/David Leadbetter Platz, das Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) ist eine 10-minütige Fahrt entfernt. Die Meisterschaftsgolfplätze Henry Cotton Penina und Alto Club, sowie die Golfplätze Salgados Links, Palmares und der neue Platz Golf Do Morgado sind alle höchstens 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Auf vielen Golfplätzen sind Greenfee-Ermäßigungen und Sonderangebote verfügbar.
Das Haus liegt ideal: Kurzer Fußweg zu den Stränden, einem Mini-Markt, einem Café und zu den Restaurants von Rocha Brave und mit dem Auto nur 5-10 Minuten von den großen Supermärkten (Intermarché, Apolonia, Jumbo, Pingo Doce) entfernt.
Vom Haus aus ist es eine circa 40-minütige Fahrt entlang der Küstenautobahn zum Flughafen Faro. Es wird empfohlen, ein Auto zu mieten, um viele interessante Orte zu besuchen.
Circa 3 km von der Villa entfernt befindet sich der lebendige Ort Carvoeiro (einst ein altes Fischerdorf) mit einem großartigen Angebot an Restaurants und Bars und einer Auswahl an schönen Stränden und herrlichen Spazierwegen entlang der Klippen. Es gibt viele Banken und Geldautomaten und drei Golfplätze sind mit dem Auto in höchstens 5 Minuten erreichbar.
Wir möchten Ihnen auch vorschlagen, das Monchique-Gebirge oder das Reservoir aufgrund seiner herrlichen Landschaft und der Restaurants, wo Sie ein 3-Gänge-Menü mit Kaffee und Wein um weniger als €10 genießen können, zu besuchen!
Zwei große Wasserparks (Slide and Splash und Aqualand) sind mit dem Auto in höchstens 10 Minuten erreichbar, und zum für die ganze Familie attraktiven Zoo Marina ist es eine 20-minütige Fahrt. Auch das Algarve Shopping Centre mit seinen Geschäften und Restaurants ist nur eine 20-minütige Fahrt entfernt.

4th Oct 2025 We loved our stay at Susie's villa. We had 8 ladies staying for 1 week and the main purpose of our holiday was to play pickleball at La Rocha Brava resort. This was the perfect base. The house was roomy. We paid extra to have the pool heated and that was fantastic. The pool was good size.
The house was wonderful, everything was clean, and was cleaned again during our stay and fresh towels. There were plenty of plates and kitchen utensils and we did read before to bring our own basics - coffee, tea, salt, pepper etc.
There is a small supermarket near by at La Rocha Brava but we got an Uber to and from Aldi's for large food shops (approx EUR 12 return).
There were some lovely restaurants within a short walk.
Suzie was also flexible with our check out time.
We would love to come and stay again.

MAI 2022. Susie war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Die Kommunikation war freundlich, klar und schnell. Die Wohnung ist supersauber und sehr stylisch. Es hatte alles was man braucht. Ein tolles Schwimmbad BEHEIZT!! Das war perfekt. Die Kinder spielten den ganzen Tag darin! Wir waren mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern (6 und 9). Es war perfekt für unsere Familie und sehr nah am Strand (10 Autominuten). Wir können die Villa sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!
JANUAR 2022. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Es war sehr sauber. Wir waren die ersten, die die Poolheizung benutzten, was wunderbar war!
OKTOBER 2021. Was für eine fantastische Woche ich und meine Freunde in der Villa hatten. Es ist wirklich eine wunderschöne Villa und sehr gut ausgestattet! Der Pool hat eine fabelhafte Größe und den ganzen Tag Sonnenschein, was einfach großartig ist. Ein kurzer Spaziergang ist ein kleines Dorf und eine sehr günstige Taxifahrt in die Hauptstadt. Obwohl wir ein Auto hatten, hätten wir mit den örtlichen Taxis überleben können. Es gab nichts, was wir hätten mehr haben können, um dies zu einem so tollen Urlaub zu machen! Wir haben alle darüber gesprochen, ein anderes Mal zurückzukehren, was alles sagt! Danke Susie, du warst auch aus erster Hand als wir dort waren und alle unsere Fragen vor der Ankunft beantwortet. Wirklich erstklassig :)

Beautiful house on a perfect location, near the coast. Our holiday and the house were perfect and also your service and the location of the house. We had a beautiful staying! We will certainly come back to Portugal.
Very clean, well presented and comfortable villa. Perfect for our holiday. The house is central to both Benagil and carvieuera. A 10 minute walk to several restaurants, one was particularly good with a swing in the garden to occupy the smaller generation. Either a 30 minute walk, or a few minutes drive from Benagil, it's caves, beach and lovely restaurants. I'd recommend a car to explore further afield and to get to the larger supermarkets. There's nothing better than picking a fresh pomegranate to dress a salad, then enjoy an evening meal next to the pool.
The house, the pool and the fireplace were very enjoyable and we have had a great Holiday with two families. The beaches in the area are beautiful and the view is great!

Nice villa just outside Carvoeiro We arrived this nice villa just outside Carvoeiro. Thanx to Susie that organised everything well. This white villa is just ten minutes outside Carvoeiro. Close to Rocka Mar. Good parking for several cars. We had two. Nice pool area. The beds are a bit hard and the diningtable is small to seven people. This can easily be fixed. Very happy about this place. Close to beaches and other activities. Many golf courses close by.
We returned several weeks ago from Portugal, we had an excellent stay. I send this email to thank you for your work so that our holidays went well. The House was beautiful and we have been very pleased with our stay. Carvoeiro is a very pretty village.
Really superb! the villa is fantastic. Everything was perfect. the booking, the Organization for the arrival... And the House is a small paradise. Congrats Susie. This villa is a privileged place for a pleasant stay. The isolated, but close to all amenities, location allows a welcome peacefulness for a stay in the Algarve. Comfort inside and outside is without comment. What to say when everything is perfect? Everything was provided for our arrival, the pool maintenance and even the cleaning lady! The rooms, in number, the bathrooms for each room (or almost), cooking well designed the dining living room (unused due to the weather) spacious... and the pool terrace overlooking the sea, where we stayed for the whole week. indescribable. Carvoeiro is really a very pleasant village and the month of may enables beautiful days without the disadvantages of the midsummer. an address to do not miss it. We will return!
We wanted an out of season private villa with a pool and found Casa Alexandra.45 min drive from the airport with easy to find directions. Villa is off the beaten track down an unmade road. First impressions from the outside are that it is a little tired. But once we went inside, we were very happy. 4 great sized bedrooms, huge lounge and dining room, spacious and VERY well equipped kitchen. Free WIFI (I was told you had to pay before I went). Plenty of outside space. Immaculately clean. There was just two of us, so we picked our room and shut the rest off. Pool is great and was cleaned by a chap on day 3. Cleaner also came by on day 3. Overall. A great villa with good amenities. Car recommended. Closest shop and restaurant in walking distance though.
Had a superb holiday with self, wife, 2 children and 1 granddaughter at this lovely spacious villa in june for our family. Weather fabulous. Lovely pool which we used daily and useful BBQ. In fact we had all our meals outside on the shaded terrace. Perfect! We will be going back. Well equipped villa and handy for the local minimarket, although we drove mostly to the Intermarche, 10 minutes away. We all love peace and quiet and this location hit the spot 100%. Lovely beach nearby with easy parking. Regular villa cleaning done thoroughly, and also the pool, which was just as it should be and great temperature as the ambient was 27-32 degrees during our visit, so a cool dip was very welcome. Roll on next year, if I can wait that long ! Many thanks to Susie who came to make sure everything was OK. Thanks for the directions without which we would still be driving about!
We arrived in Faro very late on the Monday night, Susie (the agent) provided a mobile number to contact just in case, but the great instructions she provided meant that we arrived with the minimal of fuss. The location was great, not too near the neighbours, yet close enough to get to the local town and stunning nearby beaches. The villa was just as described on the website, well equipped and very comfortable. We used the lovely deep pool every day- as we went in Spring it was a little chilly, but that didn't stop the children enjoying it. The maid, Magdalena came to clean twice in a week and she was lovely. All in all brilliant relaxing week in a beautuful location, we would definitely go back.

FIVE STARS! 6 friends (2 couples & 2 singles) needed a quiet getaway for a week and this was perfect. Everything was as described on the website, except the big Palm tree has gone! We found it on Google-Earth and realised that there were few near neighbours yet we would be near the coast...perfect for us. We didn't find any beaches within walking distance but it was so hot that we would have used the car with Air-con anyway. Parking anywhere was never a problem and the 'Intermarche' Supermarket was also a short-drive away. We don't really like towns or noisy bars, so we spent most of the time going to lovely beaches, cooking on the BBQ at the villa and playing silly games in the pool. We ate every meal outside. We could not fault the accommodation except might feel you needed aircon to sleep better in the heat - but then this villa is a lot cheaper than others with more facilities.
Lovely and very big house in nice and quiet neighborhood. Due to the time of year it gets cold indoor at night but we got along by use of the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking as well as dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. Unfortunately we could not use the lovely pool due to the temperature. All in all a great stay at a very reasonable price.
