This beautiful 4 bedroomed Algarve villa is ideally situated on the peaceful outskirts of Carvoeiro and with a 180° sea view.
The area is very quiet but within walking distance of beautiful beaches (Carvalho 10 min, Vale Centianes 15 min), mini market and array of restaurants, bars and cafés (10 min), and just 5 min drive from the supermarket. It has a large 10 metre private pool with surrounding terrace. This tranquil holiday villa offers everything necessary for a relaxing family holiday.
Accommodation
This beautifully maintained and typical Algarvian style house offers a piece of home from home. The large airy lounge is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas, International TV system providing entertainment in various languages, attractive open fireplace, air conditioning*, and has patio doors opening onto the terrace and large private heated* swimming pool. The villa has free access to Wi Fi.
There are 4 bedrooms 2 large double bedrooms and 2 large twin bedrooms, all with wardrobes. The Master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, and there is a further shower room, plus family bathroom to serve the remaining 3 bedrooms. The bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers.
The spacious kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with oven, hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine : everything you need!
The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.
Also, please note that charcoal for the Barbecue is not provided, but you can buy in all local supermarkets.
Car hire, which we can arrange if required, is recommended but not essential. Alternatively we can arrange transfers for you and your party from Faro Airport direct to the accommodation. Price available upon request.

Living Rooms - Comfortably furnished lounge with two sofas, a log burning fire, international TV system providing entertainment in various languages, and air conditioning. Patio doors lead to covered pool terrace with table and chairs, and magnificent views.
Kitchen - Fully fitted kitchen with oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, etc.
Bedrooms - 4 bedrooms consisting of 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, all with wardrobes and air conditioning.
Bathroom - 3 Bathrooms. An en-suite shower room to Master Bedroom, 1 Family bathroom, and a further shower room on the first floor. 2 hair dryers are provided.
Other - BBQ area ideally situated between kitchen and terrace.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - All bed linen and bath/pool towels are provided and will be changed on a regular basis. Maid service is included.
The villa has a large pool terrace with sun loungers and outside shower, providing the perfect lounging and sunbathing area. For those who prefer the shade there is a large covered terrace area with table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining during the heat of the day. Lush tropical gardens surround the property, and the upstairs terrace has a superb view of the Atlantic, and the lighthouse at Alfanzina. Pool heating is available as an optional extra.
There are some wonderful beaches close by. Praia de Carvalho is a 10 minute walk via a quiet dirt track, and Praia de Vale Centianes is a 15 minute walk. In addition, within a 5 minutes drive are the stunning Praia da Marinha, and beaches at Benagil, Carvoeiro and Albandeira. The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.
Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgado courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
The house is ideally situated : short walking distance from beaches, mini-market, café and restaurants of Rocha Brava, and 5-10 min drive from the big supermarkets (Intermarché, Apolonia, Jumbo, Pingo Doce).
The house is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places.
Approximately 3 kms from this property is the bustling town of Carvoeiro (once an old fishing village) with a fabulous selection of restaurants and bars, and a choice of beautiful beaches and fabulous clifftop walks. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines, and three golf courses are within 5 minutes drive.
We also suggest a visit to Monchique mountain or the reservoir for stunning scenery and restaurants, where you can eat a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for under €10!
Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within 10 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 20 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre also 20 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants as well.

As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa.

May 2022 The villa is wonderful for a family of eight or for four couples; there are three bedrooms on the ground floor which is ideal for older people who struggle with stairs! The photos don't really do it justice; the kitchen, lounge area and dining area are all open plan and it's a lovely bright space. The pool is great and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed time.

MAY 2022. Susie was a very good host. Communication was friendly, clear and fast. The apartment is superclean and very stylish. It had everything you need. A great swimming pool HEATED!! That was perfect. The kids played in it all day! We stayed with our two young children (6 and 9). It was perfect for our family and very close to the beach (10 min drive). We would highly recommend the Villa and would love to come back!

OCT 2021. What a fantastic week myself and my friends had at the villa. It truly is a beautiful villa and very well equipped! The pool is a fabulous size and sunshine all day long which is just great. A short walk is a small village and a very cheap taxi ride into the main town. Even though we had a car we could have survived with the local taxis. There was nothing at all we could have had more to make this such a great holiday! We have all spoken about returning another time which says it all! Thanks Susie , you have were also on first hand when we were there and answered all our questions before arrival. Truly first class :)
JULY 2021. Great family villa within a 15min walk to a small supermarket, restaurant & bar. The swimming pool area & extended garden is perfect for children to swim / run around. There is a BBQ although you have to get creative with the setup not difficult if your used to BBQing. Air conditioning is in the master bedroom upstairs ONLY however there are portable fans in all the bedrooms. The villa itself is clean, modern and has everything you would need for an enjoyable stay.

Very clean, well presented and comfortable villa. Perfect for our holiday. The house is central to both Benagil and carvieuera. A 10 minute walk to several restaurants, one was particularly good with a swing in the garden to occupy the smaller generation. Either a 30 minute walk, or a few minutes drive from Benagil, it's caves, beach and lovely restaurants. I'd recommend a car to explore further afield and to get to the larger supermarkets. There's nothing better than picking a fresh pomegranate to dress a salad, then enjoy an evening meal next to the pool.
The house, the pool and the fireplace were very enjoyable and we have had a great Holiday with two families. The beaches in the area are beautiful and the view is great!

Nice villa just outside Carvoeiro We arrived this nice villa just outside Carvoeiro. Thanx to Susie that organised everything well. This white villa is just ten minutes outside Carvoeiro. Close to Rocka Mar. Good parking for several cars. We had two. Nice pool area. The beds are a bit hard and the diningtable is small to seven people. This can easily be fixed. Very happy about this place. Close to beaches and other activities. Many golf courses close by.

This villa is a privileged place for a pleasant stay. The isolated, but close to all amenities, location allows a welcome peacefulness for a stay in the Algarve. Comfort inside and outside is without comment. What to say when everything is perfect? Everything was provided for our arrival, the pool maintenance and even the cleaning lady! The rooms, in number, the bathrooms for each room (or almost), cooking well designed the dining living room (unused due to the weather) spacious... and the pool terrace overlooking the sea, where we stayed for the whole week. indescribable. Carvoeiro is really a very pleasant village and the month of may enables beautiful days without the disadvantages of the midsummer. an address to do not miss it. We will return!
We wanted an out of season private villa with a pool and found Casa Alexandra.45 min drive from the airport with easy to find directions. Villa is off the beaten track down an unmade road. First impressions from the outside are that it is a little tired. But once we went inside, we were very happy. 4 great sized bedrooms, huge lounge and dining room, spacious and VERY well equipped kitchen. Free WIFI (I was told you had to pay before I went). Plenty of outside space. Immaculately clean. There was just two of us, so we picked our room and shut the rest off. Pool is great and was cleaned by a chap on day 3. Cleaner also came by on day 3. Overall. A great villa with good amenities. Car recommended. Closest shop and restaurant in walking distance though.
Had a superb holiday with self, wife, 2 children and 1 granddaughter at this lovely spacious villa in june for our family. Weather fabulous. Lovely pool which we used daily and useful BBQ. In fact we had all our meals outside on the shaded terrace. Perfect! We will be going back. Well equipped villa and handy for the local minimarket, although we drove mostly to the Intermarche, 10 minutes away. We all love peace and quiet and this location hit the spot 100%. Lovely beach nearby with easy parking. Regular villa cleaning done thoroughly, and also the pool, which was just as it should be and great temperature as the ambient was 27-32 degrees during our visit, so a cool dip was very welcome. Roll on next year, if I can wait that long ! Many thanks to Susie who came to make sure everything was OK. Thanks for the directions without which we would still be driving about!
We arrived in Faro very late on the Monday night, Susie (the agent) provided a mobile number to contact just in case, but the great instructions she provided meant that we arrived with the minimal of fuss. The location was great, not too near the neighbours, yet close enough to get to the local town and stunning nearby beaches. The villa was just as described on the website, well equipped and very comfortable. We used the lovely deep pool every day- as we went in Spring it was a little chilly, but that didn't stop the children enjoying it. The maid, Magdalena came to clean twice in a week and she was lovely. All in all brilliant relaxing week in a beautuful location, we would definitely go back.

FIVE STARS! 6 friends (2 couples & 2 singles) needed a quiet getaway for a week and this was perfect. Everything was as described on the website, except the big Palm tree has gone! We found it on Google-Earth and realised that there were few near neighbours yet we would be near the coast...perfect for us. We didn't find any beaches within walking distance but it was so hot that we would have used the car with Air-con anyway. Parking anywhere was never a problem and the 'Intermarche' Supermarket was also a short-drive away. We don't really like towns or noisy bars, so we spent most of the time going to lovely beaches, cooking on the BBQ at the villa and playing silly games in the pool. We ate every meal outside. We could not fault the accommodation except might feel you needed aircon to sleep better in the heat - but then this villa is a lot cheaper than others with more facilities.
Lovely and very big house in nice and quiet neighborhood. Due to the time of year it gets cold indoor at night but we got along by use of the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking as well as dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. Unfortunately we could not use the lovely pool due to the temperature. All in all a great stay at a very reasonable price.
