This Colina Branca townhouse is a set on a small superbly located complex of holiday townhouses, situated just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach at the centre of Carvoeiro.

The traditional townhouse has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, plus z bed, and can sleep a maximum of 4 adults plus one child. It has wonderful views over the bay of Carvoeiro.

In addition the large shared pool and lush gardens make Colina Branca a wonderful holiday location.

 


Accommodation

This individually owned townhouse is situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from the roof terrace and spacious balconies, and is only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. The traditional house has a double and a twin bedroom, plus z bed or sofa-bed, and can sleep a maximum of 5 people. The owner prefers to retain the original bathrooms/kitchens and still have traditional style furniture. This is reflected in the lower price. In the current economic climate, this house represents excellent value for money. It has UK TV channels.

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the heart of this lively little fishing town, Colina Branca is the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve, with local bars, restaurants, tennis courts, supermarkets and beaches only minutes away, in addition to Pestana Golf Centre being a few minutes’ driving distance.

The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for al-fresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine.

Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.

Car hire is recommended, the townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive,we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation. 

There is an information folder for guests use in each house. This contains a comprehensive guide to the area, restaurants, places of interest and emergency telephone numbers.

Living Rooms -  Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa sitting and large dining table. UK TV channels. Log burner. Patio doors leading to sheltered South facing sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.

Kitchen  - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.

Bedrooms  - One bedroom with double bed, en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. One further bedroom with twin beds, with sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to family bathroom.  The house comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults. Additional sleeping arrangements are for children. This house is not suitable for 5 adults.

Bathroom -  En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service -   Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter, this is included in the rental cost.

WI-FI IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.

Outside

Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.

Coast/Beach

There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho and Albandeira. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Golf

Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive.

Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Location

Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.

The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes’ drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

As a small family business we look after a few townhouses in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the townhouse before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the townhouse.

Baby equipment such Cot and High chair, are available on request for a small additional charge, please enquire.

JULY 2021. Great house with carport. Bedrooms are 1 floor down so they are always cool and an air conditioner is not necessary. House is a bit smaller than expected but big enough. Also a good balcony. House has everything you need, including washing machine and all other equipment. Location is nice but is on a hill. Meaning that you have to walk down a bit and then walk up again. Susie is very nice, flexible and almost always available. 1 disadvantage may be that you hear many seagulls in the early morning, they could wake you up. For the rest we had a great 10 days.

The accommodation is very well located (7'/8' walk to the beach and shops), well equipped (2 shower rooms, washing machine, wifi...) and offers a wonderful view of the village from the terrace and the roof-top. Carvoeiro is a pleasant village from which it is easy to discover this part of the Algarve (Silves, Albufeira, Lagos, Portimao, Monchique...)

Comfortable house with stunning view and perfect location.
We stayed in Calina Branca townhouse No. 23 which we found extremely comfortable and well located. It stands on one of the hills of the beautiful Carvoeiro valley and boasts a stunning view over the village and the sea, while at only 5 mins walk from the main street (plenty of shops and restaurants) and a 7-10 minutes walk from the beach. The parking slot right at the entrance is very practical: with a car, big supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive and there are several beach options within a 15 minutes radius.
The townhouse is fully equipped and was immaculately clean when we arrived (check-in/out is easy and contactless). The terrace is superb and we strongly recommend enjoying meals with the seaview and together with the singing of seagulls and swallows. While the architecture of the townhouse provides most of the cooling, having AC in all rooms is a real treat.
Despite being a very relaxed place, Carvoeiro offers several sea-related activities, of which visiting the caves by boat is a must.
It was reassuring to see that life in Algarve resumed under the current sanitary restrictions. We felt safe and relaxed as all businesses and other tourists are following the rules and taking all the necessary precautions.
We had a fantastic experience and fully recommend this place - many thanks to the hosts and to Susie who kindly arranged a baby cot for our little girl.

We stayed in no.23 and the hill/steps down to town are very manageable - obviously that depends on your mobility but we were all fine (& one of us was 6 months pregnant, to give you an indication). The shared pool is bigger than we thought.
